BACTERIA AT SURFACES

The research of the group is focused on microorganisms growing on artificial or natural material surfaces. Our aim is to understand, predict and control material-microbial cell interactions for health-related applications. The core strengths of the group are i) the broad expertise, ranging from in vitro test systems to medically-relevant issues, and ii) the long-term experience in working with industry and finding solutions for practical biofilm problems.
